What is FET?
It is an abbreviation for Field Effect Transistor.
The advantage of incorporating a FET is the protection of the switch contact and improved trigger response.
In normal AEG, electricity flows from the battery through the switch contacts to the motor.
Due to passing all the current through the switch, a spark is generated when the contact is turned ON/OFF, and the contact is worn.
On the other hand, when the FET is incorporated, the switch is for ON/OFF of the FET circuit. By doing so, only a weak current flows, preventing switch wear.
Since current ON/OFF is controlled b the circuit, electricity flows at full power. This will improve the trigger response.
*If the circuit is damaged, there is a risk of driving(runaway) even if the trigger is not pulled.
