This product is a chamber packing for genuine ARES AEG made of silicon.
In the case of ARES AEG, if other company’s chamber packing is used, the muzzle velocity may drop due to air leaks.
Please use as a replacement part.

Cautions

There is a protrusion in the packing. When using a surface HOP tensioner, be sure to use a flat surface such as a Magnus barrel.
Although it can be used for most AEGs, airtight leaks, clogging and double-feed may occur depending on the model and manufacturer.
Please compare with genuine chamber packing when replacing.

The role of Chamber packing

This is used over the inner barrel.
In addition to rotating the BB bullets by HOP, there are also roles such as airtight maintenance of the inner barrel and nozzle, and prevention of double-feed of BB bullets.

About the hardness of chamber packing

There is a lineup of different hardness in the external chamber packing.
The coefficient of friction increase as it hardens. As a result, a powerful rotation can be applied to the BB bullet, making it suitable for heavy bullets.
Please note that if it is too hard, it will cause clogging.
When using a surface HOP tensioner, the area where it descends is large, so if the material is hard, the HOP will not descend on the surface. Therefore, we recommend a soft type.
