PROMETHEUS PISTON HEAD POM for NEXT-GENERATION SCAR

This is a piston head for the next-generation SCAR. It is the Prometheus series provided by Japanese parts manufacturer "LAYLAX".
This product is lightweight but strong because the material of the piston head is POM.
When you replace the piston, we also recommend replacing the piston head.

This product uses POM material. It is rich in fatigue resistance ant wear friction resistance. Moreover, it has excellent self-lubricating performance.
This product is equipped with a thrust bearing that seems difficult to install in the space. By doing so, the twist at the time of spring compression is canceled and the performance is maximized. It is a required item for internal customize.

The role of the Piston head

The piston head is a part that is attached to the piston. It is kept airtight in the cylinder by installing an O-ring.
When the piston moves forward, it is a part of flying BB bullets by compressing and discharging the air in the cylinder.
