In addition to replicating the unique shape of the URG-I, a new MAGPUL STR-type stock has been added. This model is particular in pursuing specifications unique to the URG-I.
The model includes a Geissele SMR MK-16 type handguard measured from the actual handguard, a Daniel Defense type gas block, an 11.5-inch barrel, a Geissele type ambi-charging handle, and a Surefire Type 4 prong hider. This latest military carbine model contains all the latest upgrades.
Equipped with a shoot and recoil engine unique to Tokyo Marui's Next Gen electric guns, allowing the user to experience pseudo-recoil. What is URG-I SOPMOD Block 3?
It is the newest Special Forces carbine among the various M4A1 variants and is said to have been used by Green Berets since 2019.
URG-I is the name of the upper receiver group, and the name SOPMOD Block 3 is also just a designation based on the area of use and the generation of the rifle. It is unclear whether the rifle is actually called that within the US military.
It was the first rifle in the U.S. military to adopt the M-LOK on a large scale and is said to have brought a new trend to military rifles, which had not changed much over the years.
Although it depends on the development and scope of the U.S. Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW), the proven 5.56mm ammunition will likely still have a long life span in the Special Forces, and the M4A1 carbine will continue to be actively used.
