This hard barrel base provided by Japanese parts manufacturer “LAYLAX”.
Tokyo Marui genuine barrel base is made of soft material and the fixing strength of the outer barrel may be insufficient.
Barrel base needs strength!

Tokyo Marui next-generation AEG M4series (M4A1, SOCOM, CARBINE/SOPMOD, M4/CQB-R and so on)
*Tokyo Marui next-generation HK416 series and HK417 can not use this product.

The “barrel base”, which is the base for securing the outer barrel to the next-generation M4 gun body, is required to be tough because it receives a large load due to the detachment operation and the external impact.
Tokyo Marui next-generation M4 hard barrel base is manufactured from steel and can be tightened using a special wrench by replacing it with a normal part. Moreover, it is possible to gain a sense of stiffness and improve durability.
